KAMP Out at Goliath's EVENT POLICIES

KAMP is intended for folx that identify as LGBTQIA2s+.

Furthermore, racist, transphobic, ableist, exclusionary or otherwise prejudiced attitudes are not welcome and will result in a conversation with one of KAMP's hosts, or Goliath's staff. KAMP strongly advocates for, and prioritizes, the safety of marginalized people over the comfort of non-marginalized individuals.

 

Identification

One piece of ID must be presented at the door for entry. We will not discuss or disclose gender markers and names on identification. Please be aware that the personal information and emergency contact information provided during registration is kept on file in case of an emergency.

Doors

The doors open at 5:00 PM, and the event ends at 1:00 AM the next day.  Attendees may arrive at any time after 5:00 PM, and leave/return as they please.  Please ensure all activities are finished with enough time that everyone is ready to leave by 1:00 AM.

 

Substance use

While Alcohol is available on-site, please partake responsibly. Our priority with substance use is the safety of everyone. Anyone who is behaving in a way that poses a risk to themselves or others will be removed from the venue.
This may look like (but is not limited to):

  • Slurred speech

  • Bloodshot or glazed eyes.

  • Swaying, staggering, stumbling

  • Inappropriate behavior (including aggression and touching people without consent)

  • Overly loud, boisterous, or animated behaviour.

  • Bothering other guests

  • Rambling train of thought or losing trains of thought altogether (Please note: Texas Lounge and Goliath’s staff are well trained in spotting the difference between intoxication, and neurodivergent enthusiasm.)

  • Increased clumsiness – spilling drinks, dropping phone, etc

  • Falling asleep

 

Please remember that consent cannot be given when altered.

 

Dress Code Policy

While there is no dress code within the social and play areas, you are required to wear appropriate "vanilla" clothing outside and at the door of the venue.

Towels or naked are the default, but it's not mandatory, nor is it the only thing you'll see on any given night. It's perfectly fine to be in a harness, in street clothes, a cute dress, lingerie, jockstraps, swim suits, or whatever you feel good wearing.

When planning an outfit, keep in mind that the bathhouse can be warm, and that many folks will be barefoot, so choose your clothing and footwear to fit the space.

Please be mindful of glitter, body paint, metal spikes, and other elements of your outfit that might damage furniture or make clean-up difficult for KAMP representatives and Goliath's staff.

Taking and Sharing Photos/Video

Photos and video are only permitted in private rooms. Phones and recording devices are not permitted in the public areas (please keep them in your pockets when moving through these spaces). It is critical that no unaware/non-consenting attendees are in any photos/video taken. Do not post photos of other people without their explicit and enthusiastic consent. If you are found to be taking and/or sharing photos that jeopardize the privacy of other attendees, you may be issued a temporary or permanent ban.​

SCENE RULES AND EXPECTATIONS

KAMP Out at Goliath's is a sex positive space.

Only YES Means YES, and NO means NO. Accept "No" with grace and understanding that everyone has their own autonomy.

 

Get permission before touching anyone or anything. Do not touch what is not yours.

Follow the wristband system:

  • Red - Just looking, I will approach you

  • Yellow - Say hello and ask before touching

  • No band - Open, Goliath rules

Wrist bands are available inside the venue in self-serve bowls with instructions. Attendees are encouraged to change their wrist bands as they see fit throughout the night.

 

Monitoring

This event does NOT have dedicated monitors on duty. We expect accountability and respect from all attendees. While there are no dedicated monitors, please be aware that Goliath's staff, and KAMP organizers are keeping an eye out and will interject in any activities or behaviours that do not outwardly seem to follow our policies and rules. Goliath's staff are available if you need any help.

Cleaning

You and your partners are responsible for your sexual protection. Internal and external condoms and dental dams are available at the entrance. Signs are posted in locations where sex is not permitted. Wipes will be provided to clean up any bodily fluids on communal equipment. Goliath's staff will change the linens in rented rooms once that attendee has checked out. Please return your towels as directed.

 

Permitted Play/Scenes:

  • Sexual play including play with insertables are permitted and encouraged.

  • Spankings are permitted

  • Floggings are permitted - be mindful of your surroundings; space is tight

  • Bondage is permitted - Please note there are no bondage rigs or space for floor ties.

  • Watersports are permitted in the two private showers on the lower level ONLY.

Prohibited Play/Scenes:

  • Consensual non-consent play is NOT permitted at this venue

  • Blood and sharps play is NOT permitted.

  • Scat & rainbow play are NOT permitted.

  • Watersports are NOT permitted in the open shower on the main floor.

  • Fire is NOT permitted.

  • Glitter is NOT permitted.

  • Electrical play (violet wands & TENS) is NOT permitted.
